Marketing Coordinator (part-time) working in NYC office

New York Metropolitan area marketing professional needed for 16 hours per week to manage social media, maintain a website, manage e-communications, layout a print newsletter two times a year, and other marketing and communications work as needed for a nonprofit organization that provides services to people with disabilities in the metropolitan New York area.  In addition, the marketing coordinator will attend 4-6 family resource fairs each year and 8-10 outreach meetings each year throughout NYC to conduct new client outreach. Candidates must have experience working with WordPress, Adobe InDesign and Constant Contact.


While occasional remote work can be accommodated, only candidates within daily commuting distance to New York City will be considered as the marketing coordinator must attend staff meetings in person in our Manhattan office, attend outreach fairs and meetings throughout NYC, and occasionally spend time at our camp/respite facility in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Seasonal Respite Counselors (September-June)

These positions require living at the camp during respite sessions, around 130 days of scheduled respite days out of approximately 250 days from September through June.


In addition, we are always in need of weekend and holiday per diem respite counselors, and occasional other shifts available for emergency respite counselors.  Not only do respite counselors live with our clients, they are responsible for their care, safety, and welfare, and assist them with daily living skills and activity participation. We are seeking caring individuals with a desire to work with special populations. Candidates must have a high energy level and good interpersonal skills.

Summer Camp Cabin Counselors (hiring from January-June 2020)

We will begin hiring staff for the 2020 summer camp season starting in January 2020.  For our summer hirings in general, staff are hired for 9-10 weeks of work starting early-June and ending the last week of August. There is a one week training/orientation program for staff in June before campers arrive.


Responsibilities: Live-in cabins with our campers and be responsible for their care, safety, and welfare. Assist campers with daily living skills and activity participation. We are seeking caring individuals with a desire to work with special populations. Must have a high energy level and good interpersonal skills.
