The Board of Directors at Rising Treetops at Oakhurst has appointed Lauren Frary as Executive Director, effective January 20, 2026. Together, our Interim Executive Director Diana Breen and Lauren Frary will ensure a seamless leadership transition, overlapping through February 6, 2026.

Welcome to Rising Treetops at Oakhurst, a place for those with special needs and their caregivers. Rising Treetops provides a safe, caring, and engaging environment that provides a worry-free much-needed break for both our clients and their families.

With a rich history spanning over a century, Rising Treetops in Oakhurst, NJ is committed to delivering a safe and caring experience for both kids and adults with a broad range of special needs. Rising Treetops offers a year-round wooded camp environment where caregivers have confidence in the quality of care and where clients feel included, are happy, and learn new skills.

For those with special needs, Rising Treetops is a safe haven that nurtures growth, inspires confidence and celebrates joy.

While at a camp or respite session at Rising Treetops, clients enjoy daily activities including arts & crafts, music, drama, iPad-based learning, swimming, sports, cooking and gardening/nature. All our respite services and summer camp programs are designed to engage our clients and improve their skills. Clients have fun, inspire each other, have new experiences, make new friendships, and experience a heightened sense of independence.
